Interim Chief Medical Officer
Paul McArdle, Consultant Surgeon, is currently partially covering the role of Chief Medical Officer. Today we are pleased to share the news that following a competitive process Anthony Hemsley will be joining UHP as the joint Interim Chief Medical Officer on secondment from the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH) where he is currently the Medical Director, RDUH – Eastern Services.
More recently Anthony has also been working as the Medical Director for Urgent and Emergency Care at the Devon Integrated Care Board. Anthony joins the Trust from Tuesday 28 May 2024. We are delighted to welcome Anthony.
