Nominations are now officially OPEN for the Plymouth Youth Awards 2026!
The Plymouth Youth Awards are an annual celebration dedicated to honouring exceptional young people from across the city.
University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust are proud to be sponsoring the Young Carer Award, one of 17 categories at this year’s awards. The award recognises a young person who has demonstrated exceptional support for others and is open to young people from all backgrounds who have shown support for their peers, friends or relatives that has helped them to cope with the illness or disability of someone they care about.
Chief Executive at UHP, Neil Macdonald said: “Through sponsoring this award we want to shine a light and some much-deserved recognition on young carers in Plymouth. It is an honour to see these incredible young people in action, and the impact they make, every day.
“I would encourage anyone who is privileged to work or live alongside a young carer to nominate them for this award and give them the recognition they rightly deserve.”
Nominations in all categories are open until 30 April 2026 and can be submitted online.
The Plymouth Youth Awards 2026 will take place on Saturday 20th June 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Plymouth.
