Our Services

The urology cancer team see and treat the following:

• Diagnosis and treatment of urological cancers.
• Fast track haematuria service.  
• Transrectal ultrasound biopsy service for prostate cancer detection.
• Intravesical  chemotherapy  clinic.
• Andrology service

All newly diagnosed and relevant recurrent cancer patients are discussed at the weekly multi-disciplinary team meeting held on Friday afternoon. At this meeting an individual treatment plan is agreed and subsequently discussed with patients. This written plan is added into the patients notes.

Clinics
Outpatient clinics are held daily at Derriford Hospital. Outpatient clinics are also held at Stratton, Kingsbridge, Liskeard, Saltash and Tavistock.
