Welcome to the Acute Oncology Service. Our aim is to provide a timely oncology review for patients admitted as an emergency with a cancer related problem.
Our role is to:-

Provide review by an oncology Consultant and Specialist Nurse.

Provide initial expert opinion on your cancer related admission.

Offer support, training and information to the staff involved in your care during your hospital stay.

Refer onto appropriate specialist teams when needed.

Produce an individualised treatment plan for initial management.
