What do we do?
We provide care that is based around the needs of the child and their family. We are a multi-agency team and will work with you both at home, in hospital and in community settings such as schools and nursery’s.
We have clinics on Wednesday morning in the Children’s and Young Peoples Outpatient Department (CYPOD) where you will see members of the team.
Family Support
We aim to provide a range of services offering advice and support to children and their families.
- Psychology: Please contact Dr Katy FarrellWright to find out more about the psychology service
- Reiki: Reiki sessions are provided on Wednesday mornings on Level 12. There is no need to book, please speak to Venita when you arrive.
- Events throughout the year for various members of the family (Events are funded by charity DCCS and CLIC Sargent)
There is a leaflet with more information about the different events we run. Please let us know if you would like a copy of that leaflet and if you would like to be sent information about upcoming events. Additionally, you can find information about upcoming events on the noticeboard in the patient waiting area.
