In addition to the scanner in the Healthy Bones Unit at Derriford Hospital, we provide a mobile scanning service. This was made possible by a generous grant from the Mark Master Masons administered by the National Osteoporosis society.
The scanning unit travels to GP surgeries across Devon and Cornwall reducing the distances patients have to travel to access this service.
It is staffed by the same highly trained team as the Derriford scanner and the equipment is identical, ensuring the consistency of results.
