Kate Gardner

Hello, my name is Kate Gardner and I am the Matron dedicated to Stroke and Neurology both here at the main hospital, and also at the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit.

I started my nurse training in 1991 and have seen many changes in the NHS since then

I am passionate about ensuring we are always trying to give the best possible care we can, and to improve things for patients, their relatives, and carers. In order to do this, it is so important that we get feedback about your experiences with us, whether we have done things really well, or whether you feel we did not get things quite right.
