Annual General Meeting ‘Building for The Future’
Members of the public and partners of UHP are invited to the Trust’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 28 July 2023.
The AGM will take place and be hosted by Age UK at the Patricia Venton Centre at Mount Gould. The event aims to share UHP’s vision for the future and celebrate the work of colleagues, as well as bring to life the incredible impact services have had on patients and our communities.
We will hear about the exciting plans for expansion of the Derriford Hospital site, as well as developments in the recent months including the new Royal Eye Infirmary building and the opening of the new Discharge Assessment Unit at Mount Gould Hospital. There will also be a chance to see and hear more about the Age UK Short Term Care Centre.
The vision for our future workforce, as the region’s largest acute hospital, and the ways we are working with local schools and colleges will also be discussed.
More information about the achievements of the past 12 months at University Hospitals Plymouth can be found in the Trust’s Annual report.
Please join us, along with the Patient Council, Trust Board, Executive Directors and Non-Executive Directors. Spaces are limited, so to book your place at the Annual General Meeting, please email communications.phnt@nhs.net asap.
