Neuroendocrine Tumour (NET)

Neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) are a diverse group of tumours that may arise in the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, lung, and other organs. Management is individualised, taking into account tumour biology, stage, and patient-specific factors.

The Neuroendocrine Tumour service at University Hospitals Plymouth provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary service for the diagnosis, treatment, and long‑term management of patients with NETs across Devon and Cornwall.

We deliver care in line with national and international guidance and work closely with specialist NET centres across the UK to ensure patients have access to the full range of diagnostic and therapeutic options.

  • Multidisciplinary team (MDT) decision-making

  • Access to a full range of medical, surgical and interventional treatments

  • Provide long-term follow-up and supportive care
