Current Screening Locations
We have a mobile unit situated in the Tesco Car Park in Callington, screening women aged between 50 and 71 registered at Tamar Valley Health Centre, until May 2024.
We have a mobile unit situated in the Plymouth Albion Car Park, Damerel Close, screening women aged between 50 and 71 registered at Oakside Surgery and Knowle House Surgery. From July 2024, women from the Lison area will be invited, screening those registered at Beaumont Villa Surgery, Friary House Surgery and Wycliffe Surgery.
Directions for Plymouth Albion:
- Drive/walk down Damerel Close towards the Cumberland Centre
- Approximately half way down Damerel Close, before getting to the Cumberland Centre, take a right hand turn through some green gates into a small car park
- The mobile unit is situated in this car park
Anyone registered with a GP as female will be invited for NHS breast screening every 3 years between the ages of 50 and 71. You'll get a letter in the post inviting you.
If you're a trans man, trans woman or are non-binary, you may be invited automatically, or you may need to talk to your GP surgery or call the local breast screening service to ask for an appointment.
