Primrose Breast Care Centre

We have a mobile unit situated in the Westbourne Car Park in Liskeard, screening women aged between 50 and 71 registered at Rosedean Surgery and Quay Lane Surgery, until October 2024. Between October 2024 and February 2025 the mobile unit will be situated in the Leonard's Road car park in Ivybridge, screening those registered at Ivybridge Health Centre and South Brent Health Centre. 

We have a mobile unit situated in the Plymouth Albion Car Park, Damerel Close, screening women aged between 50 and 71. Those registered at Dean Cross Surgery, Church View Surgery, Wembury Surgery and Yealm Health Centre are being invited between now and April 2025. From April 2025, women registered at Lisson Grove Medical Centre, Peverell Park Surgery and Devonport Health Centre will begin to be invited. 

Directions for Plymouth Albion: 

• Drive/walk down Damerel Close towards the Cumberland Centre
• Approximately half way down Damerel Close, before getting to the Cumberland Centre, take a right hand turn through some green gates into a small car park 
• The mobile unit is situated in this car park

Anyone registered with a GP as female will be invited for NHS breast screening every 3 years between the ages of 50 and 71. You'll get a letter in the post inviting you.

If you're a trans man, trans woman or are non-binary, you may be invited automatically, or you may need to talk to your GP surgery or call the local breast screening service to ask for an appointment.
