Our Mission

To improve the health and well-being of all people who use or provide services at University Hospitals Plymouth by delivering grant programmes that promote excellence, innovation, and transformation.

How do we make this happen?

• By representing everyone who wants to say thank you for care given and received.
• Being trusted to both accept and spend money to transform people’s experiences for the better.

We listen to the brilliant staff at University Hospitals Plymouth. We ask them to put forward ideas that can help improve the care or the environment of the people who need the hospitals.
 
We do this by offering grants for innovative ideas.

We also have staff as Advisors, allowing them to support change in the area they work in.

Or there might be a hospital ward or area that needs extra care to make it more friendly or calming for people who need it.

We help support and encourage gardens within the grounds for both staff and patients to use.

All this above what NHS funding provides for the hospital.
