Transport

Hospital transport can be arranged to take you home at a nominal cost. This facility is for patients only. However, patients must make every effort to make their own transport arrangements.

Should you require transport for healthcare appointments at Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, please telephone the Transport Access Patients Service (TAPS) on one of the numbers below who will deal with your enquiry or contact your GP’s surgery.

Facilities

The hospital has a cash point, Marks & Spencer, Bakery, Newsagents, a League of Friends shop are located on Level 6 in the main entrance concourse.

Car Parking

There is limited parking on the hospital site that is subject to a Pay and Display system or pay on exit system.

Personal Property

Normally we ask that you do not bring valuables with you for security reasons and we would appreciate that personal belongings are kept to a minimum due to limited storage space. 

As a guide we suggest you bring:

• Pyjamas/nightdress x 3 sets (front opening recommended)

• Slippers

• Wash bag/toiletries

• Dressing Gown

• All current medications

• Change for phone calls, newspapers

Restaurant/Café/Shops

• Greens Restaurant, Level 7- serving hot and cold meals, deli counter, salad bar and various Vending facilities with various choices of sandwiches and meals with microwave facility.  

• Warrens Bakery/Café, Level 6, main entrance — various hot and cold snacks, pastries, tea/coffee etc.

• Warrens Bakery on Level 3 Terence Lewis Building and various other vending facilities throughout the hospital for food, snacks and drinks.

• Marks and Spencer shop at main entrance

• WH Smith inside main entrance on Level 6

• Costa Coffee, Pizza Hut, Subway, Koh Thai Noodle – Situated at the bottom of the Bircham Multistorey Car Park
