How to find us
There are four locations we will ask you to attend for your examination within Imaging:
- The Mansfield Centre
- X-Ray East
- X-Ray West
- The Peninsula Radiology Academy
Mansfield Centre
The Mansfield Centre is situated closest to the maternity entrance at Derriford Hospital. It is on level 6 and can be reached via stairs or lift via the Maternity entrance on level 5. It can also be accessed via the main entrance on level 6. Follow the main corridor to the end and turn right, following signs for the Mansfield Centre. Scans that take place here include MRI and CT.
X-Ray East
X-ray East is situated near the Main Entrance of Derriford Hospital on Level 6. You need to turn left when you reach the League of Friends shop, walk along the corridor for approximately 30 metres and the entrance is on your right.
X-Ray West
X-Ray West is also situated near the main entrance on level 6. At the League of Friends shop you need to turn right and follow the corridor to the reception desk at the end.
The Peninsula Radiology Academy
The Academy can be found in the Business Park. Scans that take place here include MRI and Ultrasound. For help finding the Academy please use the Peninsula Radiology Academy - Find Us page. There are road signs at the roundabout as you turn right into William Prance Road.

Parking
The nearest car parks for each location are:
- MRI Mansfield: Maternity or Multi-Storey Car Park
- X-Ray East & West: Car Park A or B although it is advised to use the Multi-Storey Car Park
- Radiology Academy: Limited parking facilities available on site. Normal Trust parking charges apply.
