Drake Circus Community Fund Donation Goes to Derriford's Children's Wards

Each year, Drake Circus selects a local cause to receive a donation from its Community Fund. This time, they kindly donated £1000 to Plymouth Hospitals Charity for Derriford's Children's Wards.
Drake Circus chose Plymouth Hospitals Charity as their charity of the year last year to raise money for Children’s Services and build awareness about the incredible work they do. The Drake Circus team organised for digital posters and a contactless donation point to be included in their summer display at the heart of the mall over the summer.
This recent donation from their community fund continues the amazing support, and we would like to extend a big thank you to the team.
Greg Lumley, Centre Director at Drake Circus and The Barcode, said:
"We are proud to continue our support of Plymouth Hospitals Charity with this donation to Derriford's Children's Wards.
"The contactless donation point we hosted at the centre last summer helped raise valuable awareness, and we're pleased this donation will further their incredible work. We hope it continues to make a positive impact for local children and families."
Plymouth Hospitals Charity's Fundraising and Engagement Manager, Jamie Lee, said:
"We are very thankful to Drake Circus for their support. This very generous donation to the children's wards will help us make hospital visits better for young patients and their families by improving hospital spaces and offering toys and fun activities that bring moments of happiness and distraction."
