We’d like to say a big thank you to the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) for their incredibly kind donation of £3,200 to the children’s wards at Derriford Hospital.

The children’s wards at Derriford Hospital were paid a visit by the Easter bunny last week, just in time for the bank holiday weekend.

In a few months' time, thanks to the hard work and dedication of a local couple, pregnant ladies in Plymouth and the surrounding areas will be given a potentially life-saving wallet at their booking in appointment. The wallets will not only protect their maternity notes wherever they go; they will also display important information and advice regarding mum’s health, and that of her baby’s.

Tavistock Golf Club has very kindly donated a sum of £5,800 to the children’s wards at Derriford Hospital.

The Critical Care Unit at Derriford Hospital has received a combined total of £6,500 in donations from the Soar Mill Cove hotel and the Rotary Club of Salcombe.

Monkswell Ward at Derriford Hospital will be alive with the sound of music, thanks to a kind donation from the customers and staff of the Co-op in Higher Compton.

The Children’s Happy Hospital Fund (CHHF) has raised £22,000 to refurbish 18 cubicles across Derriford Hospital’s children’s wards.
