Daniel Rowe has raised £1,075 for Plymouth Hospitals Charity by taking part in a tandem skydive.

Despite his fear of heights, 16-year-old Daniel took the 15,000ft leap from a moving plane to raise money for the Mustard Tree Cancer Support Centre at Derriford Hospital . The skydive was a birthday present for Daniel and he decided to use the opportunity to raise money for the Mustard Tree on behalf of his friend, Kayleigh Eve.

Lucy Byrne has raised nearly £10,000 for Plymouth Hospitals Charity.

Lucy held a ball in February on behalf of her friend, Freya King, to raise money for Birch, Bracken and Lynher wards.

The Primrose Foundation have funded a new, state of the art, ultrasound machine at Derriford Hospital, thanks to the incredible fund raising efforts of its supporters. The machine, costing over £50,000, will help to reduce waiting times at the Primrose Breast Care Centre by enabling more patients to be scanned in a shorter time frame.

Forever Fred was set up by Joanne and Colin Smith, in memory of their son, Fred Neal Smith, who was sadly born too soon on 29 July 2017.

In June of last year, Mark ‘Simmo’ Simmons was only able to run ten steps after being involved in at accident at Falmouth Docks. Last month, he ran over 14,000 steps, completing the Plymouth 10k race in an impressive 56 minutes.
