Parental accommodation in Neonatal Intensive Care at Derriford, Plymouth, consists of purpose built seven bedroom ensuite rooms, full kitchen and comfortable sitting room, adjacent to the hospital. Laundry facilities are available. There is also parent facilities on the unit, including three bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a small kitchen when families are admitted as an emergency to NICU, and tea and coffee is provided. There is a water cooler located outside the high dependency nursery.

We would like to remind parents that they are responsible for their children whilst visiting the neonatal unit.  Children must not be left unattended in the sitting room.

SMOKING is NOT PERMITTED within the hospital perimeter.

All mobile phones should be switched off when on NICU.
