The diversity of people and their roles bring strength to our organisation. We value and support our staff in a variety of ways.
Staff Recognition
-
We have schemes across the Trust designed to recognise and celebrate our staff.
-
We also actively encourage patients, their families and our colleagues, to send thank you messages through a number of channels.
Staff Networks
Our staff network groups provide a forum for individuals to come together, share ideas, raise awareness of challenges and support each other. They drive change and give staff the opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
Our Staff Networks: Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME), Disability and Wellbeing (DAWN), Faith and Beliefs (FaB), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender Plus Staff Network (LGBT+) and Women’s Network.
We also have a number support groups, including: Men’s Conversation, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Support Group, Neurodiversity Support Network, Diabetes Support Group and Support Group for colleagues under going fertility treatment/IVF.

Speak Up and People champions
-
The Freedom to Speak Up Guardians operate independently, impartially, and objectively to support all staff within our organisation to raise any concerns that they may have.
-
Our workplace People Champions are people who have a passion for fairness, justice, inclusivity and/or health and wellbeing; and want to support their colleagues in being as engaged, recognised and as well as they possibly can be.
