Our Results

We have outstanding surgical results with excellent in-hospital outcomes for both elective thoracic cancer surgery (compared with national figures) and those admitted as emergencies such as trauma patients. This is in large part due to the high-quality standardised pre-operative, operative and post-operative care our patients receive.

Our results for cancer surgery are regularly published by the UK Cardiothoracic Society (SCTS) transparently in the National Cardiothoracic Audit Database.
