The devastated Plymouth family of a little boy, whose life was sadly cut short after he was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour, now want to give back to Derriford’s ‘secret garden’ where he passed away.

Little Jayden Lamerton lost his battle with cancer in May 2023, surrounded by his heartbroken family. The six-year-old loved football and was a huge Liverpool fan.

His Dad Jamie has returned to the secret garden and told us why he has set up an annual football tournament, in memory of his son, to raise money for the Plymouth Hospitals Charity.
