At University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, we welcome individuals seeking meaningful work experience or shadowing opportunities within a healthcare environment. A placement with us provides valuable insight into life in an acute hospital and the wide range of roles that support patient care. It can help confirm a chosen career path or introduce new possibilities that may not have been previously considered.
Work experience also offers a number of benefits, it helps build confidence, develops essential workplace skills, enhances understanding of professional expectations, and strengthens future applications for both jobs and higher education courses.
In return, we ask that you demonstrate reliability, commitment, and a genuine willingness to learn.
