Eden Day Case Unit
We have a specially designed unit with eight chairs where patients with immune-deficiencies can undergo immunoglobulin replacement therapy in comfort. We offer both intravenous and subcutaneous therapy and support many patients to learn to give their own treatments at home. We provide an accredited training programme for patients learning to manage their own immunoglobulin treatments.
Sometimes infusions can be organised at satellite sites closer to patients' homes. The details of satellite infusions sites currently available are listed in the table below (clinics times vary but are usually across standard working hours Monday to Friday). Access to these satellite infusion sites is determined on a patient case-by-case basis according to clinical need. Patients can discuss this with their clinician at their Clinical Immunology appointment to see if it might be appropriate for them. Or contact the Eden Unit directly on 01752 431002 or email: plh-tr.eden@nhs.net

We also offer a service for neurological patients receiving immunoglobulin therapy.
The Day Case Unit provides a comfortable space for patients undertaking food and drug challenge testing and for patients undertaking allergy immunotherapy programmes. This includes bee and wasp desensitisation or the initiation of sublingual aeroallergen immunotherapy. Patients are invited to the Unit for escalated treatments for urticaria and angioedema.
