Louise Cork

Hello, my name is Louise Cork I am the matron for Acute Paediatrics. I registered as a specialist Childrens Nurse in 2004 and have worked in the Trust since qualifying and took on this matron role in 2022.

My team and I treat each child as an individual whilst supporting their families’ values and strengths to promote a positive outcome. We strive to ensure every child receives the right care, at the right time, in the right environment, and we will advocate for the children and families we care for.

We welcome your comments and constructive feedback on your experiences of the paediatric services at UHP. Through working together, we can ensure learning from current practice which can improve future services and patient outcomes.
