Psychological Support at the CDC

Hello!

We have a number of Clinical Psychologists and Children and Young People's Wellbeing Practitioners (or CWP's for short) ready to support your child or young person at the CDC.

You may meet a Psychologist as part of your child's assessment process or be referred by another clinician for some specific therapy with a Psychologist or a CWP.

You can find out more about us and what we do by having a look on our pages here https://www.plymouthhospitals.nhs.uk/children-psychological-health.

Unfortunately, we have a wait to be seen but are working hard to reduce this. However, we have put together loads of self help resources and information which will be helpful for you to explore whilst you wait. Some of the most helpful ones can be found here:

Anxiety Resources http://www.cdcgo.link/anxiety

Useful local services http://www.cdcgo.link/services

Self Harm Guidance and Support http://www.cdcgo.link/Harm

We look forward to meeting you soon,

Children's Psychological Health and Wellbeing Team
