Nursing and Midwifery Staffing
We are committed to ensuring that our wards are staffed at the appropriate, safe level to provide the highest quality care to our patients. In line with recommendations of the National Quality Board (NQB) we will publish staffing level reports on a monthly basis.
For the benefit of our patients and visitors we have also installed noticeboards on every ward which show planned and actual staffing levels on a shift by shift basis.

In 2016 the National Quality Board printed an updated report, "Supporting NHS providers to deliver the right staff, with the right skills, in the right place at the right time", this safe staffing improvement resource replaces the 2013 NQB guidance.
